About this training.
No child or family should walk a path of healing, growing or learning alone.
Last year, over 1.5 million Australian children experienced difficulties attending school. That number reflects 39% of families with school aged children.
Their lack of attendance is not because they're 'naughty'. Not because they're 'defiant'. And not because of poor parenting.
But because they can't.
The recording and presentation slides below are a recording and copy of a free online webinar presentation in January 2024, by Mariane Power.
In this training, Mariane offers both lived experience story sharing and clinical insights into the challenges and opportunities facing families with children experiencing school attendance difficulties. Gain knowledge, neuro-inclusive language and practical tools to increase your confidence in taking action for change, so together, we can create a more inclusive future of learning.
This training is suitable for parents and carers, teachers and educators, and those supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives in communities and workplaces.
Please note: This training is in support of, but separate to the work and efforts of 'School Can't Australia', who can be contacted here

MEET YOUR HOST
MARIANE POWER
Clinical Psychologist & Neurodiversity Specialist.
Award Winning Entrepreneur & Speaker.
Co-founder & CEO, The Posify Group.

Hi! I'm Mariane, a former theatre-maker turned Clinical Psychologist, Neurodiversity Specialist and Entrepreneur, obsessed with all things related to meaningful living. My deep purpose, to see the end of unnecessary human suffering, has led me to work with thousands of good humans across generations, industries and countries, united by a shared desire to unlock their potential and use their unique strengths to create change for good.
In addition too my Neurodiversity work, I proudly co-founded The Posify Group, a socially conscious education company recognised by Deloitte Global and The World Economic Forum as a WorldClass Education Top Innovation. Our research, consulting and systems-based change solutions seek to create a diverse and inclusive future of learning, work and leadership, driven by purpose, and delivering IMPACT.
Through my lived experience of raising twice-exceptional children (2E - gifted and neurodivergent) and late diagnosis of the same unique profile, I've come to understand first hand the value and importance of inclusive practices. This experience underpins my advocacy and professional contribution to the neurodiversity movement, and continued exploration of conditions that support Inclusive IMPACT, a topic explored in Series 4 of the podcast I host, Classroom 5.0.
I'm thrilled to connect with you here and look forward to embarking on your journey of IMPACT together!
